Foam is the modern dry fly tying material — buoyant, durable, and unsinkable. It's the body of hoppers, ants, beetles, Chubby Chernobyls, and Catskill-style emergers. Patterns tied on closed-cell foam float through fast water and ride high on the surface long after a feather-and-fur dry would have given up.

Our foam selection covers the categories you'll reach for at the bench: thin sheet foam in multiple thicknesses and colors, pre-cut ant bodies, parachute posts, egg yarn, and specialty rigging foam.
