Part of our goal at the Beaverkill Angler is to provide useful and entertaining fly fishing instruction, classes, and schools for our customers to improve their knowledge and techniques. Be sure to check back as we schedule more events.
We will once again be offering FREE Orvis Fly Fishing 101 Classes at the Beaverkill Angler. Classes are held on most weekends throughout the summer. For details and a complete schedule click here
After running two classes with Aaron last summer we still had enough interest that we decided to do another this year! As a regular contributer to Fly Tying and American Angler magazines, and with two DVDs on the subject, Aaron Jasper is passionate about his methods and this class is a great introduction to the European Nymphing style. It was such a hit last year that we are doing it again! This year's two day fly fishing school will again be held on the banks of the Willowemoc and is a great experience for people just getting into the sport, or for those of us who are looking to improve our skills and knowledge.  August 4th-5th : Second Annual Hardy Cup Casting Competition
Hardy/Greys and the CCFCM will once again be holding the Hardy Cup bamboo rod casting competition during their annual Summerfest event. For full details click here
